Our Main Aims & Objectives
The Constitution of the WAWSDA states that it’s objectives are:-

    1. To encourage among sheep breeders, and the general public, a wider interest in
       the working sheepdog, and it’s work.
    2. To improve the standard of working sheepdogs.
    3. To promote, encourage and assist all working sheepdog trials.
    4. To establish and maintain a sheepdog register. To produce,
       publish and distribute such books, newspapers, pamphlets, periodicals
       and other literature calculated to promote the objects of the Association.

 Our Constitution has been designed to allow Associate Membership,as well as
full
Working Membership.

   The WAWSDA comprises five affiliated Clubs, at present there are five arena trials,
and a State Championship, plus two yard/utility trials, and a State yard/utility
Championship each year. WAWSDA members also participate in RAS trials and
several unofficial rural trials annually
